On Feb. 24, at 6:50 pm, police responded to a radio call of gunshots at 31st and Berks. When they arrived, they found 20-year-old Dontea Hart, a black male, lying on the street with multiple gunshot wounds to his body and face. Hart, from the 2100 block of North Corlies Street, was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead at 7:10 pm.
Police also found a second victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The victim is currently listed in stable condition. Police say an unidentified assailant shot the two men.
