On March 12, at 10 am, on 100 North Conestoga, police found James Perkins, a 29-year-old black male, suffering from gunshot wounds to the neck, back and leg. Perkins, from 5300 Haverford Avenue, was transported to the Hospital of the University Of Pennsylvania where he was pronounced dead at 10:42 am.
Police have a brief description of the shooter: a black male, 5'9, with a thin build. The motive is undetermined.
