A Strawberry Mansion High School student shot just minutes after receiving his diploma.
An ongoing fight between two groups of the school's students broke out just after students left the graduation ceremony at 3:55pm. Temple University Officers attempted to break up the melee, but not before someone fired a one shot, hitting 18 year old senior Khiry Caldwell in the back.Caldwell was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he is listed in fair condition.
Police are investigating the shooting.
A school spokesperson says Caldwell is an "all-around, good student", who has been accepted into Shaw University.
